On the 18th July 2016, about a year ago, I opened my RabsonArt Etsy shop. On the first day my shop offered an enormous number of 4 products and incredibly imprecise descriptions. RabsonArt started slowly growing, offering more illustrations, prints, paintings and finally changed its name to StudioRabson (it does sound better doesn’t it?). Etsy shop turned into studiorabson.com website/shop and right when I was about to give up… A milestone of 90x90cm canvas was sold to a Swiss art lover. The kick of encouragement lead me to personal sales on art markets in Amsterdam and self-organised exhibition. After over 2000 website views and my art hanging on walls in places like Amsterdam, Brazil, Switzerland, South Africa, Los Angeles and Germany, I can say this year was a success!
For StudioRabson’s 1 year anniversary, I decided to publish a proper website which will cover more than just online sales. I would like to share with you my ideas, thoughts, processes and inspirations strongly influenced by Singapore – place where I will spend the majority of my time the next year.
